Christmas in July

Tilda Tea Party - Christmas in July swap. Oh dear, who is that gate crasher ? At least the Asian tea lady is wearing Tilda fabric!
Glorious treasures! Thank you Gloria - how lucky are we that you paid us a visit. Not everyone can have Anne's Glory Box visit them . What a special day!
Raggedy Ann is 100 years old this year. December challenge is a Raggedy Ann . Marg was the lucky winner of this tiny vintage Raggedy Ann

Connie and her amazing coat created from upcycled jumpers. Doesn't Connie look majestic in her epb style crown?

Christmas in July lunch - no more needs to be said.

Vicki's very cute puppies - reminds me of the rhyme. What are little boys made of ? Snips and snails and puppy dog's tails.

Embroidered tree by Vicki
"Melville"  on show.

Carolyn is happy with her head from Marlaine's workshop

Gamarna putting some final touches to her tree.

Marg's magnificent Christmas cross stitch - almost done!

Irene's dolly applique for a quilt - the doll is coming.

December swap - a tree doll. Here's an idea!

New Beginnings, Making New Memories

Special announcement to all Hello Dollies friends,
Yesterday (11 July)  at our 'Christmas in July' meeting with Gumnutters ( besides an exciting and treasure laden visit from wonderful Gloria), it was decided unanimously that the two groups Hello Dollies and Gumnutters  join creative forces to become Gumnut Dollies Newcastle. There was lots of discussion about future plans and it sounds a very exciting time for doll making in the Hunter.
We will be meeting on the second Saturday of each month at the Girl Guides Hall, Thomas Street, Hamilton South (Merewether) and will have special events/excursions/visits on the occasional  fourth Saturday of the month
For updates on what is happening -  The Gumnutters Facebook and the Hello Dollies blog have both been changed.
Facebook : We have a Facebook Group page - this is a page for only those who apply for access to this page. The page is Gumnut Dollies Newcastle https://www.facebook.com/groups/374592665910002/
Blog : All the old posts from Hello Dollies can still be accessed, but the blog has a new address  http://gumnutdolliesnewcastle.blogspot.com.au/

A BIG thank you to Gloria and Fay for the many fantastic years of nurturing us to this stage, and to Ann M and Jo for their initiative in establishing Gumnutters.
Thank you to all for your support of this new creative journey.
